37th Annual Penn Center Heritage Days Celebration

FreeHeritage Days Celebration is a three-day cultural event celebrating Penn School – Penn Center, and the Gullah Geechee history, folk arts, food, music, crafts and West and Central African cultural legacy.
Located at Penn Center—formerly the Penn School, one of the first schools for formerly enslaved Africans and their descendants living in the Sea Islands of South Carolina—visitors can experience the unique setting of the 50-acre Penn School National Historic Landmark District.
Penn Center is excited to announce that there are no gate admission fees for 2019. There are costs for some Heritage events and food.
Parking fee (Friday & Saturday) on Penn Center’s campus (East and West). Handicapped parking will be available. $5 per car/truck/suv/van | $25 per tour bus
Please bring your folding camp chairs for comfort.
